Our Environment
Our classrooms are filled with laughter, creativity and endless opportunities to learn through play. Designed as unique teepee-inspired learning spaces, each classroom forms part of our exciting Little Reds village, creating an environment that feels welcoming, imaginative and full of character. With creative village-themed class names and our friendly main office known as the Town Hall, every part of the school contributes to the sense of belonging and community we want each child to experience.
Inspired by the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” we believe children thrive when they are surrounded by caring teachers, supportive families and a nurturing school community. Our aim is to create a place where every child feels safe, valued and excited to come to school each day, knowing they are part of something special.
Every classroom and learning area has been thoughtfully designed to spark imagination, encourage curiosity and inspire discovery. Children are encouraged to explore, create, build friendships and enjoy new experiences while developing confidence, independence and important social skills. At Little Reds, learning feels like an adventure, with every child supported to grow into a happy, confident and enthusiastic learner.
Learn By Doing
The best learning happens when little hands are busy and young minds are curious. Through hands-on activities, imaginative play and meaningful exploration, children are encouraged to question, create, discover and grow in a happy, nurturing environment where learning feels exciting and natural.
Every day brings new opportunities to build confidence, creativity, communication and problem-solving skills. Through stories, art, music, movement, sensory play, outdoor activities and guided discovery, children develop important early literacy, numeracy, motor and social skills while having fun and learning through experience.
We believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported and inspired to explore. Curiosity is encouraged, individual achievements are celebrated and every activity is designed to help children become more independent, confident and eager to learn. After care is available Monday – Friday until 17:00
Grades
We welcome children in RRR, RR and Grade R, with each phase thoughtfully designed to support their developmental milestones, nurture a love of learning and prepare them for the exciting journey ahead.
Technology Inspired
We embrace technology as a meaningful part of preparing children for the future. Used with purpose and balance, technology enhances learning through interactive classroom lessons on smart TVs, engaging STEM sessions with
tablets, educational games and hands-on digital exploration. Rather than replacing play, creativity or human connection, technology enriches our learning experiences, helping children develop confidence, curiosity, problem-solving skills and digital awareness in an exciting and age-appropriate way.
Extracurricular Activities
Learning extends far beyond the classroom through our exciting MCC (Mixed Co Curricular) Programme. As part of our weekly school timetable, every child participates in a dedicated MCC period once a week during school hours, giving them the opportunity to explore new interests, develop valuable skills and discover hidden talents. Activities may include tennis, cricket, robotics, arts & crafts, coding, dance, cooking, music and much more. Our MCC programme encourages confidence, teamwork, creativity and a lifelong love of learning, all while making every school week even more exciting.

At Little Reds, tomorrow’s professionals begin their journey today. Our unique community inspired learning spaces allow children to dream big from the very beginning. Whether they’re learning in The Bakery, The Vet Clinic, The Hospital, The Post Office or visiting the Town Hall, every environment encourages imagination, problem solving and real world learning through play. We nurture the confidence, creativity and character that tomorrow’s doctors, teachers, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists and changemakers will carry with them for life.
